Sun Protection Lotion with Mineral Oxides

Unlike chemical-based sunscreens that use Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, Homosalate, or Octinoxate, mineral-based sunscreens are safer for you and our environment. Chemical sunscreens take up to 30 minutes to be effective as they need to be absorbed into the body and work by absorbing the sun rays into the body before breaking them down. Mineral sunscreens do the opposite; they block the sun rays from entering the body by providing full-spectrum coverage.

Mineral coverage % provides sun-blocking protection.  Based on the ingredients, it offers an SPF of roughly 30.  Has not been tested by outside laboratories for SPF value.

How To Use

Shake well before use as separation can occur.

Gently massage lotion where sun protection is desired on the body. Mix with our Summer Body Oil for easier application.
